and to log you out due to inactivity, but no cookies are left behind when you are logged out or
timed out.

What information do we collect?
We only collect information from you when you register for the Service. When registering for
our Service, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing
address, phone number or other personally-identifiable information (“PII”). In addition, as part
of your use of our Service, you may provide data and information, including without limitation,
company information, your counterparties, and your trades, margin and cash movements
(collectively, excluding your PII, “Uploaded Content”).
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you, including PII and Uploaded Content, may be used,
among other things, to: process transactions; price transactions; perform margin calculations;
invite other members of your company — as directed by you — to register for our Service;
communicate with, market to and onboard counterparties to transactions you provide to us; and
improve the overall functionality and applicability of the Service. Additional details are
provided in our Contracts and Agreements.
How do we protect your information?
We implement and maintain security measures that we deem reasonable and appropriate to
secure your PII and Uploaded Content against inadvertent or illegal loss, destruction, disclosure
or access. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive information, including PII
and Uploaded Content, is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then
encrypted into our database to be only accessed by those authorized with special access rights to
our systems. ALTHOUGH WE WILL USE VARIOUS TECHNOLOGIES AND TOOLS TO
PROTECT YOUR PII AND UPLOADED CONTENT AGAINST LOSS, DESTRUCTION,
DISCLOSURE OR ACCESS, NO METHOD OF SECURING DATA IS FOOLPROOF OR
COMPLETELY EFFECTIVE, AND THIRD PARTIES MAY UNLAWFULLY ACCESS OR
INTERCEPT DATA TRANSMISSIONS, COMMUNICATIONS OR STORED DATA, AND
MAY UNLAWFULLY USE THE DATA. THUS, ALTHOUGH WE TAKE REASONABLE
MEASURES TO PROTECT YOUR PII AND UPLOADED CONTENT, WE DO NOT AND
CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR PII OR UPLOADED CONTENT WILL REMAIN
PRIVATE OR SECURE.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
Subject to, and except as otherwise provided in, the terms of the Contacts and Agreements and this
Privacy Policy, we agree to keep your PII and Uploaded Content confidential, unless we are
required to disclose your PII and/or Uploaded Content in connection with law enforcement, fraud
prevention, or other legal action as required by law or regulation, or if we reasonably believe it is
necessary to protect ourselves, our systems, customers, or the public.
Your information may be shared with trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Site,
conducting our business, or servicing your transactions, so long as those parties agree to keep
this information confidential.
What happens to your information?
Reasonably promptly after our receipt of your written request, we will erase or destroy all
Uploaded Content in our possession. Any archival data storage of Uploaded Content may be
maintained solely as part of our routine back-up, but we shall have no obligation to maintain
such Uploaded Content, nor any obligation to provide you with any Uploaded Content should
you have requested erasure or destruction of such Uploaded Content.
California Privacy Rights
Beginning January 1, 2005, under California law, if you are a resident of California, you may
submit a written request to us about how we have shared your PII with select third parties for
their direct marketing purposes. In response to your written request, we will identify the
categories of information shared, if any, and will include a list of the third parties and affiliates
with which it was shared, along with their names and addresses. Please submit a written request
to info@matrixapps.com.
